This is the second release recorded at the SWR New Jazz Meeting in December 2005.

Here you can download unreleased FURT audio material. Since the music is too complex and detailed to be adequately reproducible in mp3 form, these downloads are all in FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec) format, which decompresses to produce CD-quality WAV or AIFF files.

Further information on FLAC, and free downloads of the FLAC coding/decoding software (for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and other platforms), can be found on the Sourceforge FLAC website

The software is simple and intuitive to use and generates WAV or AIFF files which can then be burned to audio CDs. Windows users can also download plugins which enable FLAC files to be played directly in Winamp or Foobar2000.

Further items will be added from the FURT archives in due course.

* Mac users please note that these files will not download in Safari. An alternative browser is available for free from Mozilla.

psi records (psi 07.05/6)

Recorded at the SWR New Jazz Meeting in December 2005, this is the first release from an ongoing project in which FURT is expanded into an electroacoustic octet with a unique collective sound, where vocals, instruments and electronics coalesce into a dense but transparent vortex.
